Speech - University Should Guarantee a Safe Environment

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

Let me tell you something, how if you got cancer and other diseases just because of other people wrongness. I am convinced that it is not fair for you, right?

It is being the same as you become a passive smoker. You don’t doing the wrongness, but you got the illness. Moreover, it happens in the university area. This is a contrast view of the university that carries “Green Campus” as the title. Therefore, I believe that the university should guarantee a safe environment. The environment can classify as safe when the environment is health. 

One of the most important think of safe environment is air quality. Good air quality is when the air not contaminates by the air pollution, such as cigarette smoke. As far as I know that the university has given smoking prohibition for all of the university members. In reality, we still met students that smoking in the university area. In properly, the university should take action against the student who is doing the infraction. Because it has become competence of the university, so the university should strict with this infraction.

In consequence, the university should guarantee our life with a safe environment. Safe environment can be concrete when we keep our health environment.
